The Company operates through several insurance brands, using a differential pricing mechanism according to specific customer information, a low-cost base, and an advanced technological infrastructure. The Company’s customer-focused service strategy offers customers a wide range of advanced digital services that enable them to enjoy weighty availability in a variety of communication channels, accessibility, and transparency (in 2018 some 97% of its insured parties were highly satisfied with the service provided).
The Company’s Activities and Business Development
According to its 2018 financial statements, premium turnover totaled NIS 2.6 billion, while comprehensive income totaled NIS 174 million. Income was earned from almost all areas of its operations, as the Company holds the largest market share in the vehicle-property-individual insurance sector.
Direct Insurance has 1,500 employees, most of whom are service and sales representatives that provide direct service to the customer base. The Company attaches pronounced importance to developing its human resource base, and as proof once again, in 2018, Direct Insurance took 1st place among insurance companies in the “Best Companies to Work For” ratings; and placed a respectable 10th in BDI’s overall ratings.
