About Balter, Guth, Aloni & Co.

Balter, Guth Aloni & Co. is one of Israel's largest and leading law firms in the fields of civil, administrative, and commercial law. Over its 50 years of professional practice, the Firm has gained a reputation and a prestigious status thanks to its intensive legal involvement, working with local and international bodies in significant transactions and complex projects, involvement and direct influence on legislation, and unprecedented successes in a variety of its fields of activity.

The Firm was founded in 1974 by Moshe Balter and Ehud Guth, and in 1991 Supreme Court Judge (on a temporary appointment) the Late Shaul Aloni joined. Today, the Firm has 100 lawyers located in the Firm’s five branches – in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Tiberias, and Yagur.

The important status and high esteem the Firm possesses rests on the values that have guided it since its establishment. From the senior partners, through the lawyers, to the administrative team, the Firm advocates thorough and uncompromising professionalism, providing clients with personalized treatment and precisely tailored solutions, through innovation and creativity. Thus, its clients receive a comprehensive and inclusive response under one roof, through cooperation and synergy between its various departments – commercial, litigation, real estate, planning and construction, energy and infrastructure, cooperative societies, taxes, labor law, intellectual property, torts, insurance and medical malpractice, class actions, religious orders and more.
The Firm represents large and mid-sized commercial clients in Israel and worldwide, including multinational companies (Fortune 500 Corporations), and some of the largest commercial companies in Israel in all areas of business: industry, real estate, insurance, banks, provident funds, non-profits, hotels, government companies, local authorities, regional councils, municipal corporations, regional enterprises, purchasing organizations, kibbutzim, and moshavim.

The Firm’s lawyers appear daily in all of Israel’s judicial instances and manage some of the largest legal finals in the country.

In many fields, the Firm is known as a pioneer and has been involved in important precedents, which have influenced the structure of prominent branches in the economy as they are known today. Also, over time, the Firm’s lawyers have been involved in legislation in Knesset Committees and have accompanied some of the largest projects in Israel that have had an extensive environmental, social, and commercial impact.

Contributing to the Community
The Firm attached importance to contributing to the community and provides legal services for a variety of non-profit organizations and associations, including two prime non-profit organizations – “Hapluga Hmesayaat 7020” (Nonprofit Organization) which was founded to honor the memory of 13 of the fighters of the auxiliary company of the 7020th battalion who fell in a battle in Jenin during “Operation Defensive Shield”. The second is “Her Academy”, (Nonprofit Organization), a social school whose goal is to enable women who survive prostitution and violence to study and acquire a profession and integrate into society and the workplace.
