Adv. Avi Antebi–A Recognized Authority in the Fields of Real Estate and Urban Renewal

Adv. Avi Antebi holds an LL.M. from Bar Ilan University and has specialized in real estate and commercial and financial litigation for two decades. In the last decade, he has specialized in urban renewal.

As a recognized authority in his field, he was chosen to represent the State of Israel in urban renewal projects at the Urban Renewal Authority of the Ministry of Housing.

Adv. Antebi serves as legal advisor and arbitrator for the Agudat Ha’Tarbut Association and as an arbitrator for the Israel Bar Association in disputes. He often lectures at municipalities and various centers nationwide as part of a service to the public, at non-profit organizations. and conferences on condominium buildings.

Adv. Antebi has authored and published “Neighbors,” a book that deals with real estate law concerning condominiums and urban renewal. The book guides housing committees and the public on all condominium issues, including urban renewal transactions in shared property. The book, which presents the legal aspect of the management of shared housing, deals with routine disputes in a shared house, including the manner of paying committee fees, managing the shared house, meetings in the shared house, distinguishing between shared property and private property, repairs and maintenance of the shared property, installing an elevator in the shared home, disconnecting from water and sewer systems and central heating systems.

In his book, Adv. Antebi also refers to applying to the body authorized to decide on neighbor disputes. The book presents and explains the relevant sections of the law, describes the relevant rulings, and explains the meaning of the particular section and how the courts and the offices overseeing the land registry relate to the subject of the conflict. House committees may use the book to understand the trend of the courts concerning the management of the common property and the legislative interpretation concerning the clauses that assist in the common property management. The book helps the committees of the condominiums nurture and maintain normal neighborly ties.

The contribution to the community in Israel is at the forefront of Adv. Antebi’s mind. Indeed, the Firm has provided pro bono legal advice to the Yadid Non-Profit Organization and helped hundreds of people upgrade their lives as part of urban renewal projects.
