Unique Projects Completed by the Company
2014 Award for Construction Excellence – The Porter School for Environmental Studies Building is a “green building” and was awarded Israel Standard 5281, and LEED Certification at the Platinum Level. The unique design of the building reflects a combination of traditional architectural design along with computer design and form manufacturing methods, based on the use of solar radiation simulation tools (for energy production and lighting), noise prevention from the Ayalon Highway, wind (for ventilation and power generation).
The Porter Building is complex. To comply with “Green” Standards, the building was fitted with many special and innovative systems, including special air conditioning that is operated with energy generated by solar rays through a system of vacuum tubes located on the building’s southern side and roof, a set of radiating beams for air conditioning, floor heating and cooling systems, a computer controlled natural ventilation system, and a “green” roof.
Cinema City Complex in Rishon Le’Zion – The Cinema City received the 2011 “Construction Excellence” award. Construction of this luxurious complex of 26 modern, computerized, and dynamic cinemas, located on Moshe Dayan Blvd. in western Rishon Le’Zion. The complex also has five VIP cinemas, a children’s hall, a 360-degree screen and an advanced cinemax hall. The ground floor of the complex houses restaurants, shops, cafes, and bars. The project covers a built-up area of 50,000 square meters.
