The Omer Nirhod Law Firm specializes in three broad areas of law: A. The Firm's corporate department works with its business clients as Company Lawyers - from company formation, the preparation and drafting of founder's and partnership agreements, and consults regarding the company structure and taxation, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, employee agreements, intellectual property, and more. C. Representation of corporate clients in complex insolvencies.

The Investor Representation Department specializes in representing investors with the aim of restoring the money they lost in investments that were made in violation of legal provisions, made negligently, through Israeli companies, foreign companies, or in private offerings that are not supervised by the Securities Authority. The Firm handles tens and hundreds of millions of Shekels in lawsuits against various investment companies. Advocate Nirhod believes that the right way is to reach agreements and save investors money with speedy moves and without legal proceedings that could take years.

Dubious Investments
One of the neglected markets in the Israeli law today, to which private investors invest more than 1 Billion dollar yearly is over see real estate investments through Israeli investments companies, in which Israelis invest huge sums of money in dubious ventures abroad, so-called “safe” real estate ventures, with “many protections”. In retrospect, the investor discovers that behind the promises there is nothing, and his money is lost.
The Firm handles aspects related to the investment proposal or, during its management, in moves and lawsuits against the investment companies and their owners, whose goal is to return the money to the investors. “According to the Israeli Main bank reports,” Advocate Nirhod says, “about NIS 6 Billion is invested every year in ventures that are not supervised by law and which constitute an extensive platform for entrepreneurs to make money at the expense of unsuspecting investors. That’s where we come into the picture and work to get him his money back, or at least most of it.”
Nirhod law firm Is considered today as the leading Israeli Boutique firm In this private Investments area.
Advocate Nirhod holds a doctorate in international law, comparing American law with Israeli law in private offerings off the stock exchange market for securities – this is the field in which the Firm is now active. These days, Advocate Nirhod is working on preparing a draft bill aimed at regulating the world of private investments outside the stock exchange in Israel.
Advocate Nirhod’s extensive knowledge in this world allows him to exhaust all procedures with investment companies and their managers and to maximize the investors’ investment returns.

Accompanying Companies and Insolvency Proceedings
As an experienced businessperson, Advocate Nirhod knows how to analyze a company’s business situation in crisis and try to find solutions that will prevent bankruptcy. Advocate Nirhod says, “If a business does not generate money, it has no right to exist. A failed business will only become profitable if someone comes from the outside and creates change. The best time to contact me is the moment the business encounters trouble. Together, we can analyze the situation and see if the business can be saved. If closure is inevitable, we will close it at the best point in time. After planning, we will apply to begin insolvency proceedings that will allow the client to overcome the proceedings in the best possible way to save private assets, etc. Afterward, we will prepare a business plan for the client for a safe return to the business world. Insolvency proceedings are legitimate. I, indeed, do not recommend that anyone go through the proceedings–but if the client got there–it is not the end of the world. There is life even after bankruptcy and discharge.”
The Firm works with its business clients at all stages, starting with the opening of the business, partnership agreements, employment agreements, and other business agreements, and for all needs of the company or business – collection services, legal litigation, etc. The Firm will work with the client through successes and crises until the sale or issuance of the company on the one hand or the collapse of the company and reaching insolvency proceedings on the other.
Besides the legal assistance with insolvency, business, emotional, mental, and family support is also provided. Advocate Nirhod cites an example from his personal life. “Essentially, I was the first person ever declared bankrupt that received an order of discharge at the same time, and the only person who received a certificate of good conduct confirming that my behavior was beyond reproach and that the bankruptcy was not the result of my failure, and still, my excellent lawyer did not know how to raise my spirits, help me in the business aspect, lead me to growth or support me in the emotional and family aspects. And regretfully, I lost my family.”
Advocate Nirhod decided to save the torments he experienced from other business people. “My mission is to represent business clients who have become insolvent and to offer them comprehensive support and a return to normal life. Having earned a second degree in psychology, I see support and a sympathetic ear as part of my job. I need to help my clients go through this difficult period, both on a mental and family level.”

Life Goes On After Bankruptcy
Professional and Personal Experience
Advocate Nirhod, contributes to his clients from his painful personal experience, as one who went through one of the largest bankruptcies in Israel after being the victim of a sting. Advocate Nirhod knows how it feels to be bankrupt with debts of tens of millions of shekels. In his autobiographical book “Falling from the Heights” Advocate Nirhod documented the December 2009 collapse of the Datasafe Group which he then owned, which was then one of the leading computer services companies in Israel with an operating turnover of about half a billion shekels and 400 employees in Israel and abroad, The book describes the legal battles, dealing with the sting of bankruptcy, the economic and family crisis, and later the regrowth and climb up. Today, Advocate Nirhod runs a successful law firm and is considered one of the leading lawyers in Israel in the field of accompanying businessmen and companies in crisis.
Advocate Nirhod tells of a couple who approached him after the factory they owned had accumulated debts of millions. “We continued to operate the factory for several months to prevent any criminal entanglements. We then closed the factory and began bankruptcy proceedings. Happily, the husband has returned to the business world and is now repositioning himself in the field. The couple also maintained their relationship and the family, despite the difficulties.”

Settle Debts and Rehabilitate the Business
A meat factory that accumulated debts of NIS 5 million was rehabilitated with the help of Advocate Nirhod. “We saw that if the profitable activities were kept, the factory could reach a profit of NIS 3 million annually. One does not close such a factory because of debts of NIS 5 million. We reached arrangements with all creditors, and the factory has been rehabilitated.”

The Role of Counsel – Creating Value Added for the Success of his Clients
“It’s difficult to choose a lawyer who will accompany you through the insolvency proceedings,” emphasizes Advocate Nirhod, Besides the professional aspects, that I am a business executive with many years of experience and that I, myself, also went through a process of bankruptcy and eventual recovery, comforts our clients. They know they are in excellent hands, that we understand what they themselves are going through, and that we can help them get through this challenging period.
“The uniqueness of the Omer Nirhod Law Office is in its unconventional thinking, and in seeing that the lawyer’s role is to create added value for his clients – a value that will be reflected in their business success.”
