About Weinberg & Co., Law Office

Weinberg & Co. is a boutique law firm practicing in tort law, specializing in very complex cases. It has made its mark with significant lawsuits in severe bodily harm, gross medical negligence, medical negligence during pregnancy and childbirth, fatal traffic accidents, and severe work accidents, which caused severe disability, to paralysis, irreversible damage and death because of neurological damage and orthopedic injury or termination of pregnancy. The Firm also handles personal accident-injury claims, due to negligence, sports accidents, student accidents, medical malpractice in the field of dentistry, and the rights of IDF-disabled and victims of hostilities.

The Firm’s professional team, led by the Firm’s founder, Dor Weinberg, has made it a mission to represent only victims, because of its deep sense of mission and commitment primarily to the weaker populations, and fights with great determination to give Firm clients the most professional service available. The team harnesses all the knowledge and legal experience it has gained over time, its uncompromising professionalism, and creativity to successfully manage severe personal injuries that contribute to disability, paralysis, irreversible damage, and death.

Complex Claims Against Insuring Parties
The Firm works with its clients until all procedures against the insuring parties, have been exhausted–including the National Insurance Institute (claims for work accidents, traffic accidents to work, and the deterioration of the client’s employment-related health condition), insurance companies (claims for death from any cause including suicide, traffic accident, bodily harm, and loss of work capacity), health maintenance funds, hospitals, and private doctors (because of medical negligence), and the Ministry of Defense (for injury and disability during military service, including on the way to military service, and from the army homeward.)
Advocate Weinberg and his professional team carefully examine each case before taking legal action of any kind, and if necessary, do not shy away from managing parallel claims against different parties, to obtain the maximum amount of compensation due to the client.

The team provides each client with personal and professional support. However, because of a commitment to the victims and their families, Advocate Weinberg sees to present his clients a realistic assessment of the compensation they are expected to receive and avoid false promises. The Firm works in close cooperation with the Justice Legal Investments Fund – Israel’s leading fund for investments in legal proceedings, to cover the expenses of the plaintiff (the victim), so that the Firm’s clients receive full compensation or reach maximum compromise arrangements, without cost and risk.
Since its establishment in 1948, the Firm has helped many clients exercise all their rights, and to win significant sums of compensation, sometimes reaching tens of millions of Shekels.

Specialization in Medical Malpractice, Traffic Accidents, and Work Accidents
The Firm specializes in serious tort claims because of medical negligence, fatal traffic accidents, serious work accidents and more, which cause disability, paralysis, neurological and orthopedic injuries (in the spine and brain), limb amputations, and even death.
Weinberg & Co. has extensive experience in obtaining high percentages of disability and financial compensation for physical damages, medical and functional limitations, and medical needs, caused because of injury. The Firm bases the tort claims on medical opinions prepared by Israel’s best medical experts, to prove the severity of the damage or to prove that the damage was caused by medical negligence.
Medical Negligence During Pregnancy and Childbirth – Dor Weinberg and the Firm’s professional team specialize in serious claims due to medical negligence in all stages of pregnancy (genetic tests of the fetus and pregnancy monitoring) and childbirth (damages to the newborn and the mother). Lawsuits for medical malpractice may be filed against the medical staff, gynecologists, doctors during pregnancy monitoring, genetic tests, the health maintenance funds, hospitals, and more. The Firm bases the claim on the opinions of expert doctors, geneticists, image scanners, gynecologists and delivery room doctors to prove the causal link between the negligence for the damage caused, to increase the chance of the claim being successful, and to increase the compensation amount.
Fatal Traffic Accidents – the Firm specializes in serious tort claims following traffic accidents (as a driver and as a pedestrian), which can cause irreversible damage and sometimes death because of head injury, brain injury or spinal cord injury, amputations of legs and arms. The Firm is recognized as a leader in claims because it obtains high disability percentages and compensation for fatal traffic accidents.

Advocate Dor Weinberg, Founder of the Firm
Dor Weinberg follows a long line of practicing advocates–the Late Israel Weinberg, his grandfather, founded the Firm in 1948, while Dor’s father, Theodore Weinberg, Advocate and Notary specializes in real estate, while Dor’s brother, Roy Weinberg, is an advocate and architect.
Dor Weinberg received his LL.B. from the College of Management – Academic Track in 2004 and was called before the Israel Bar Association in 2006. Dor primarily practices in the field of tort law, especially in personal injury. Since his certification, Dor has gained legal knowledge and experience in the management of significant claims in complex and complicated cases, which ended with the realization of his client’s rights to receive substantial compensation.
Dor is also a certified mediator (from 2017) and is authorized to prepare a continuous power of attorney document–which is the preliminary guideline for the appointment of a legal guardian and an Expression of Will Document under the Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law (from 2019), a graduate of the Medical Course for Lawyers – Tel Aviv University Institute of Legal Arts (2021), and a graduate of a course dealing with determining the degree of disability according to law: National Health Insurance, School of Continuing Medical Education of the Tel Aviv University (2020).
As a competent and experienced litigator in the field of tort law and medical malpractice–the legal experience, the uncompromising professionalism, the wisdom, the creativity and the high drafting ability–are the factors that led him to resounding success in representing the victims before the giant insurance companies and state institutions.
Dor Weinberg is recognized as an uncompromising professional who wrestles with insurance companies and all other insurers. He never represents those bodies, but fights them for the injured and the weak. He makes every effort to prove the severity of the damage and the degree of disability by combining the professional opinions of renowned doctors to emphasize multi-system injury. All said to maximize the compensation the Firm’s clients deserve.
As someone who runs marathons in his spare time, Dor says: “After over two decades in the profession, I still run long distances – both in the cases I manage and physically in the city streets. For these two of my loves, similar abilities are required: strategy, tactics, determination, and sophistication. Even in lawsuits, we run long distances and fight until we get the rights for the victims and their families.”
