Department of Family Law (Covering Inheritance, Financial Agreements, Domestic Peace, and Divorce)
Led by Attorney Ravid, the team within the Family Law Department addresses legal resolutions for a range of family disputes. In the context of divorce proceedings for married couples and separation proceedings for unmarried couples, the team strives to establish agreements encompassing matters such as child custody, visitation rights (including meetings with grandparents), child support, and overall well-being. This extends to property division, involving the balancing of resources, social rights, reputation, and dissolution of shared assets, especially in real estate.
The firm boasts extensive experience in resolving intricate family disputes among various family members, including siblings, parents, brothers-in-law, uncles, and others. These disputes may involve inheritances, objections to wills, and family businesses. The firm advocates for clients in family courts and rabbinic courts, participating in appeals, mediations, and arbitrations, thereby avoiding protracted and complicated legal proceedings. A distinctive specialization of the firm lies in the protection of minors’ rights, both in Israel and globally. Attorney Eva Steinmetz and Attorney Shira Ravid have an outstanding reputation and unique expertise in protecting the rights of minors in Israel and globally, representing custody cases, and handling abduction claims (Hague Convention) in Israel. The firm is also recognized for its achievements in information security and minors’ online privacy across Israel, Europe, and the United States. Furthermore, the firm addresses aspects related to cyber and protected information concerning children.

Specialized Focus: Families with special Needs
Attorney Shira Ravid leads the department and is recognized as the foremost specialist in Israel for families with special needs. This distinctive field demands a unique expertise within family law, involving tailored treatment and the adaptation of legal tools to address the specific challenges faced by families with one or more members – be it a minor or a parent – defined as having cognitive, neurological, mental, or special needs. The department provides comprehensive assistance to these families across various areas, including wills, trusts, continuous power of attorney, divorce agreements, and mediation efforts involving legal guardianship, the judicial systems, and welfare authorities.

Real Estate and Entrepreneurship Department
Attorney Nati Furman – heads the Department and, together with the Firm’s professional team, leads clients in real estate transactions and involved and complex initiatives, including real estate taxation: buying and selling of residential, investment, office, and commercial complexes, with the Israel Lands Administration, real estate tenders, with local authorities, counsel and representation in purchases of yield-bearing real estate.
The legal counsel includes planning of the purchase, tax aspects, the acquisition itself, due diligence, financing aspects and related negotiations, aspects of corporate law, and counsel upon the realization, marketing, and sale stages, and legal counsel up to and including the registration of rights.
The Department also works on various urban renewal initiatives, including evacuation-reconstruction projects, formulating unique and creative real estate transactions, and many international projects.

Department of Surrogacy, Adoption and Parenting
Under the leadership of Attorney Lilach Nehemiah, the department provides guidance to couples navigating surrogacy, whether in Israel or abroad. This begins with a legal consultation phase before entering into a surrogacy agreement. The department facilitates negotiations with surrogacy companies, manages legal documentation for newborns (including regulating the baby’s status with the Ministry of the Interior and various state authorities legally responsible for the matter). Additionally, the department handles paternity claims, judicial parentage orders, and related issues.
The division caters to diverse family structures, encompassing the incorporation of children into various contexts, such as married couples, publicly known partners, same-sex couples, and those under Chapter B—irrespective of the complexity involved. The firm also manages child adoption procedures both in Israel and internationally, including the submission of adoption applications and the regulation of the legal status of the adopted child and/or adoptive parent across a spectrum of family dynamics and relationships.
