Adv. Uri Keynan – Milestones
In 1996, Adv. Keynan qualified, and in 1997 founded the Firm that he now heads. Over time, he has represented clients and headed up defense teams in some of the largest and most complex court cases on record and to his credit has been involved in precedent-setting cases, and some of the most significant verdicts ever handed down. Adv. Keynan has filled several public positions, including:
• Member of the Criminal Matters Committee of the Israel Bar Association, from 1999 to 2003.
• Deputy Chairman of the Criminal Matters Committee of the Israel Bar Association (Tel Aviv and Central District), September 2007.
• Acting Chairman of the Criminal Matters Committee of the Israel Bar Association (Tel Aviv and Central District), February 2009.
• Member of the Israel Bar Association (Tel Aviv and Central District Committee), June 2011.
• Chairman of the National Criminal Acts Forum of the Israel Bar Association, November 2011.
• In 2015, Adv. Keynan was elected acting head of the Israel Bar Association.

Academic Endeavors and Excellence
Adv. Keynan lectures at diploma-level professional development courses and symposiums and also edits the “Pen and Criminal Acts” Journal published by the Israel Bar Association. He lectures at the Judge Sussman Advanced Training Institute for Judges, is a staff member at the Law Studies Center of Kiryat Ono, lectures at the School for Legal Practices, where he is also a staff member, serves as Academic Coordinator at the Practical Law School, and is a member of the Steering Committee of Netanya College’s Program for Excellence.

Counsel Before and During Interrogation – the Firm accompanies its clients during interrogations, providing counsel during interrogation or obtaining legal opinions before the interrogation process.
Hearings and Motions to Close Criminal Case Files – before the issue of an indictment in preliminary hearings, the Firm represents its clients before the various indictment entities during the hearing process. Correct and professional management of the preliminary hearing process can sometimes lead to closure of the criminal file. In addition, the Firm handles motions to close criminal case files.
Disciplinary Processes – The Firm represents attorneys before the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Israel Bar Association, as well as representing other professionals who are subject to various disciplinary tribunals (the Public Servants Tribunal, the Ministry of Health Tribunal, etc.).
Motions for Closure of Criminal Files and Changes in the Motive for Closure – the Firm handles motions to delete criminal records, closure of files, change in the motive for the closure of criminal files and, as required, lodging appeals in the matter.
