S.G.S. has a tradition of decades of excellence and success. The Company was established in the early 1970s as a contractor that primarily worked under contracts with government ministries, local authorities, public institutions, and in particular, for Israel’s Ministry of Defense and the US Army Corps of Engineers, which recognized S.G.S. as an “Outstanding Performer” for the quality of its work, prompt completion, safety, and effective management.
S.G.S. has completed a diverse range of projects over the years, including over 2 million square meters of commercial and hi-tech facilities, residential projects including in the field of urban renewal, many complex projects for the Ministry of Defense and the US Army Corps of Engineers at military bases throughout Israel, for Israel’s Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Housing and Construction, which placed S.G.S. in the “unlimited recognized and approved construction” category. Other major projects have been carried out for Israel Electric Corp., Israel Airports Authority, Mifal Ha’Payis, as well as for local and municipal authorities. All projects were completed successfully and to the satisfaction of the customers, who have showered the company with letters of appreciation and recommendations.

S.G.S is the exclusive manager of Vitania Ltd.’s operations, including promotion, development, construction, marketing, and property management.
Vitania is a public company, and its shares are traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and is a developer of real estate for office, commercial and residential purposes. S.G.S. founded Vitania and is one of its shareholders. Vitania owns over 200,000 square meters of office and commercial space, as well as another 200,000 square meters for development and construction. Vitania is active mainly in Israel, Poland, and the USA.
Promotion, Development, and Construction – Offices, Commercial and Residential Properties
S.G.S. develops, builds, manages, and retains ownership of office and commercial buildings and residential projects – directly and via subsidiaries and related companies. After their completion and marketing, S.G.S. manages the buildings as income-producing properties. As a developer and builder, the Company is involved in all stages of the projects. This provides flexibility and the ability to complete custom made projects in the shortest time – efficiently, at competitive prices and independent of external contractors.
S.G.S has been active for many years in the field of urban renewal and has vast experience in clearance-reconstruction as well as TAMA 38 projects. S.G.S. initiated and is a partner in the largest clearance-reconstruction project in Tel Aviv – “Green Park neighborhood” at the renewed Neve Sharet in Northern Tel Aviv. S.G.S managed the entire process of signing up the tenants, planning the project, preparing agreements with the tenants and negotiating with the Ministry of Housing and Construction, Amidar, and other parties. The project includes the clearance of 154 apartments in 10 older housing buildings, their demolition and the construction of six 10-27 floor towers, with 447 apartments, over an area of 81,000 square meters The financial scope of the project is NIS 1 billion.
SGS through its SGS LIVING brand also leads and promotes a large number of projects for urban renewal (clearance -reconstruction and TAMA 38) involving 2,000 apartments units in several cities, including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Netanya and more.
S.G.S has built many projects at military and security facilities for the US Army Corps of Engineers throughout Israel. A wide variety of projects were carried out, such as flight simulators, technical buildings, etc. at a scope of tens of thousands square meters.
S.G.S. has also undertaken many projects for the Ministry of Housing and Construction, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defense, municipalities, and local authorities, Mifal Ha’Payis, Israel Electric Corp. and others throughout Israel.
B.O.O., B.O.T., and P.F.I. Projects
S.G.S. is active in B.O.T., P.F.I., and B.O.O. Projects for the Israeli government, municipalities, and various public organizations. The “Station” (the historical train station complex in Tel Aviv-Jaffa) – a complex for culture, recreation, fashion, and leisure that includes 22 reconstructed and preserved buildings on 25,000 square meters next to Neve Tzedek, and opposite the beach. The buildings are leased to various tenants, including restaurants, coffee shops, bars, designer, fashion, and jewelry stores, as well as concept stores.
Water/Waste Water Treatment and Desalination Plants
S.G.S. is active in projects in the fields of water treatment, sewage, and desalination plants. S.G.S. was part of a joint venture that built the desalination water treatment plant at Netofa-Eshkol.
