Its mission is to connect the most sought-after car brands worldwide with customers who love cars. The constant development of the automotive industry is a source of great inspiration for it. Samelet is excited to be a part of this development and offers innovative products and services that are changing the face of the market through initiatives, changes, and the dictation of a new standard, all out of a passion for doing and being innovative.

Samelet’s Mission
As a company specializing in the automotive industry, Samelet is committed to providing its diverse customer base with advanced solutions, addressing their changing needs, and producing unique experiences through excellence, passion, and creativity.

Samelet’s Story
Samelet has been here for a long time – an integral part of the local and worldwide automotive industry landscape, offering a network of many showrooms and service centers nationwide, where customers receive personal attention and comprehensive service from the dream stage to fulfillment.

Samelet’s History
Samelet was founded in 1946 by Avraham Goldstein-Goren, a business executive, after receiving a concession to import vehicles of the Italian Fiat Group to the territories of the Mandatory Land of Israel and the Middle East. In 1960, all restrictions on vehicle imports were lifted, and the company grew rapidly within a few years. In the mid-1960s, a showroom and a central garage were opened in Tel Aviv. In 1971, the company opened a showroom and a central garage in Jerusalem. In 1989, the company was acquired by Michael Levy, an industrialist, and two years later, Samelet became the official representative in Israel of the “Alfa Romeo” brand. In 2012, Samelet bought Auto-Italia Romania and the operations of the IVECO truck and bus brand. In 2013, Samelet became Subaru’s official representative in Israel when it bought Japanauto, Israel’s Subaru importer. In 2014, Samelet bought partial ownership of the Ferrari and Maserati luxury brands. In August 2019, full ownership of Auto-Italia was transferred to Samelet. In 2016, Samelet bought the operations of the Jeep and Ram brands in Israel from the Automotive Equipment Group (“Machshirei Tnuah”) following the merger of the Fiat and Chrysler Groups and the establishment of the FCA Automotive Group.

Constantly on the Move
For over 50 years, Samelet has imported the world’s most coveted car brands – Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Jeep, Subaru, Ferrari, and Maserati, and also the best transport brands in the world, such as Ram and Iveco.
In addition to its core activities, Samelet is pleased to offer its customers ancillary services that expand the range of products that it provides: Samelet Financing, Samelet Leasing, Samelet Like New, and Samelet Insurance.
And to be constantly on the move, Samelet always looks forward and offers a variety of innovative activities and exciting collaborations: Samelet For You–a cooperative vehicle initiative, Samelet Plugo – charging solutions for electric vehicles, Samelet Adventure – excursions and exciting activities, the Autotech Fund, as well as other strategic partnerships.
