About Kata Development, Construction and Investments Ltd.

Kata Development, Construction and Investments Ltd. ("Kata") is engaged in residential real estate, urban renewal through the TAMA 38/2 and demolition-construction project routes, and income-generating real estate. Kata was founded in 2002 by Rafi Kata, an entrepreneur with decades of experience in the real estate field. Since its establishment, Kata has been building and renovating Petah Tikva and is considered the City's leading Development and construction company. Kata is now promoting 20 projects in the City involving 1,500 apartments and is also planning a new hotel in Petah Tikva (only Petah Tikva's second) to be built in Ramat Siv–a developing employment a

Our Clients are our Priority
The personal safety of its customers is a top priority – this is the principle that guides Kata’s activities. Kata stresses thorough planning to realize the principle, using the highest quality materials and a high level of artistry to create the perfect finish. All this while working with experienced and reliable professionals, providing personal service, and meeting schedules.

Petah Tikva’s First TAMA 38/2 Project
As a groundbreaking and leading entity in Petah Tikva, Kata completed the first TAMA 38/2 project in Petah Tikva – the new Neve Gan project (Phase A) on Ze’ev Orlev Street, nearby the Jabotinsky Street axis. The project included the demolition of an older 12-apartment building and its replacement by a modern and well-designed residential building with 39 new apartments. The project serves as a new model for other construction companies in the city and highlights Kata’s leadership. Kata is now building the second phase of the project, a demolition-construction project complex that involved the demolition of 24 older apartments being replaced by two modern residential buildings with 88 apartments.

Development and Contracting Company
Kata is both a development and a contractor, affording it a significant advantage in the real estate industry. The combination of the two specialties allows Kata to initiate and carry out all its projects independently, giving it complete control over all areas of activity. In this way, Kata can deal with engineering complexities and planning difficulties, streamline the construction process and offer buyers attractive prices. Kata project tenants gain security and peace of mind.

Land Ownership Throughout Israel
Kata began by marketing land throughout the country, and as a result, it currently owns many plots in Israel’s North, which it leases to farmers. Alternatively, Kata promotes the parcellation of some of its land plots for commercial centers and owns income-generating properties in Israel’s center, mostly in Petah Tikva and some in Tel Aviv.

Kata – A Family Company
All members of the Kata family were born in Petah Tikva and are proud to be the builders of the regenerating city. The Company’s founder, Rafi Kata, is continued by Ben and Lior Kata. In some cases, the Company also cooperates with other companies owned by the extended family.
Kata is a living example of honest workers who do not shy away from hard work and work long hours every day to optimally promote the projects for which the Company is responsible and to the fullest satisfaction of its clients
Kata has a lean management staff that works with top-level external consultants and professionals, including economists, lawyers, appraisers, construction supervisors, engineers, and supervisors.

9 Leshem Street, in Petah Tikva – a new and prestigious 15-story business hotel with 90 rooms and commercial areas will be built in the heart of the hi-tech center of Petah Tikva, near the light rail line and the largest entertainment complex in the city.
34 Yitzhak Sadeh Street, in Petah Tikva’s Ramat Verber District – the first demolition-construction project in the renewed neighborhood. An older building with four entrances and 24 apartments will be demolished and replaced by a new 19-story tower with commercial space and 90 new apartments in a diverse mix.
19 Jabotinsky Street, in Petah Tikva – a groundbreaking demolition-construction project on the Jabotinsky axis where the red line of the light rail will pass. As part of the project, Kata will demolish three older buildings where 36 families currently live to be replaced by two new buildings using a mixed-use model, including 132 apartments, commercial areas, offices, and public buildings.
The “Ficus House” Project in Petah Tikva’s Yoseftal District – a plan to promote urban renewal in the neighborhood has already been approved by the Petah Tikva Planning Committee. The Yoseftal neighborhood is located near the Sirkin military base, soon to be evacuated for the construction of thousands of new housing units. As part of Kata’s activity to renew the city, it will begin construction work in the coming months on the “Ficus House” project – the first TAMA 38/2 project (demolition and construction) of its kind in the regenerating neighborhood.
