The Dan Hotels chain is Israel's most established, most prestigious and leading hotel chain. The chain offers 18 super deluxe and deluxe hotels with 5,000 rooms nationwide, and a hotel in Bengaluru, India. The story of Dan Hotels began in 1947 when the brothers Yekutiel and Samuel Federmann purchased the 21-room “Kaete Dan” guest house on Tel Aviv’s coast. The guest house was renovated and became a permanent meeting place for the young leaders of the State of Israel. After the State’s establishment, a decision was made to build a 121-room luxurious hotel, and in 1953, the chain’s first hotel, the Dan Tel Aviv opened its doors. Today, the chain has 18 hotels in Israel and The DEN Hotel in Bengaluru, India.

In 1982, Dan Hotel securities were listed for trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE: DANH); and approximately 87% of its shares are now held by the Federmann family.

The Dan chain offers its guests a variety of hotels for pleasure and business. To provide guests with a complete hosting experience, the chain emphasizes a high level of hospitality and service, in line with the brand’s values and slogan – “Experience The Best.” As part of its brand values, the chain strives to differentiate the various hotels it owns, so that each has its character and style.
The King David, Jerusalem is the flagship of the Dan Hotels, is affiliated with the “Leading Hotels of the World” and is one of the most spectacular hotels in the world. The unique architectural structure, and its turbulent history, have made it the official guest residence of the Israeli government and the residence of high ranking visitors.

Along with its hotel industry activities, the chain also operates a shopping center, an international conference center, and is a partner with ORT Israel in ORT Dan Gourmet – a high-class culinary center and cooking arts school. The Dan chain also operates five VIP Lounges at the Ben Gurion Airport in collaboration with QAS, and the “Tiv v’Taim” and “idit” restaurant companies, which provide meals to the institutional market and companies.

The Dan Hotels chain continues to maintain product quality and is committed to fulfilling its guests’ expectations, inculcating personal service awareness, beyond that what is expected of its employees and managers, to create the best Dan hospitality experience.

The Dan chain continues to expand, with the recent purchase of 3 new hotels and their addition to the chain – Neptune Eilat, Ruth Safed, and Mary’s Well in Nazareth.

In the Spring of 2019, the Dan Caesarea underwent a thorough renovation, was upgraded and became a resort providing a unique experience.

The Dan chain continues to develop its first hotel, away from Israel – The DEN Hotel in Bengaluru, India, and a new brand “Link Hotel & Hub” in Tel Aviv, a Dan hotel noted for its innovative applications and technology.

The chain continues to develop, renovate and upgrade its existing, recognized and cherished hotels and adapts itself to new developments in the economic and business world.
