The Carmit Mister Fix plaster factory is the largest plaster factory in Israel. The production processes at the factory are carried out under strict quality control requirements and ISO 9001 Standards. Mr. Fix’s Industrial Plaster Revolution
In 1994, Mr. Fix headed a change in the Israeli construction market when it began marketing industrialized plaster in bulk (“silo”), intended for use with launching and spraying machines.
The advantages of the method are clear: overhead savings – increasing output by 500% • Maximum control over mixture quality • The industrialized plaster is produced in a controlled process at the factory • The mixture is ready to use, just add water • The plaster is kept in a “silo” for up to 6 months and does not lose its quality • The product is ready to use and is applied by plastering machines and saves manpower • Low depreciation – cost savings and cleaning at the construction site.
A Diverse Product Basket
Among Carmit Mister Fix’s leading products:
• Adhesives for hard coverings for gluing natural stone tiles according to Israel Standard 2378, adhesives for covering porcelain mosaic tiles and pressed tiles, non-shrinking adhesives for gluing ceramic tiles that have an exceptionally high degree of absorption and meet the requirements of Israel Standard 1555 for indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for covering a wide variety of infrastructures: cast concrete walls, plaster, gypsum boards, gypsum blocks and more, quick-drying adhesives that allow stepping on and returning to use within 24 hours.
• Plaster products based on white and gray cement, industrialized and ready-to-use plaster suitable as an infrastructure for hard coverings, according to Israel Standard 1920, used as an infrastructure for gluing natural stone, ceramic porcelain, mosaics and skim coatings (“schlicht”). Tested and adapted for work in a marine environment, additional plaster products used for acoustics and thermal insulation of the interior and exterior building shells, according to Israel Standard 1045.
• Flexible one-component and two-component sealants used to seal drinking water reservoirs, sealants used for sealing on top of cement plaster in swimming pools and ornamental pools, sealing products used to seal wet rooms, religious baths (“ritualariums”), flexible sealing to be applied to stone slabs suitable for application according to Israel Standard 2378 – Part 5 (“Baranovitz Method”). The sealing materials are ideal for positive and negative sealing.
• Restoration and special cements suitable for a wide range of uses such as fixing heavy machinery, anchoring cranes and conveyors, railways, casting foundations for machines, cement mortar used for anchoring heavy equipment, filling spaces under walls and columns, products for concrete restoration in a corrosive marine environment, special cements for smoothing architectural concrete, etc.
• Leveling mat cement-based mats for interior use used for leveling floors with varying thicknesses from 0 mm to 50 mm – suitable for industry and residential use The mat is used for laying and gluing parquet, suitable for gluing ceramics, PVC, carpets, and more, in a wide variety of decorative mats in a selection of colors for application in residential apartments, lofts, offices, and halls with vast areas.
• Floor coatings for parking lots and industry based on epoxy and polyurethane, coatings in a wide variety of colors for coating asphalt concrete surfaces, etc., coatings based on epoxy and aggregate suitable for industrial kitchens, for the food industry, pharmaceuticals, electronics, etc.
• Abrasive floors in industry, abrasive impregnation materials, expansion joints, steel fibers.
