To mention a few of the cases and issues handled by the Firm in the field of insolvency:
K. Psagot Israel Company Ltd.
400 buyers bought offices in Ashdod from this company. The company collapsed before completing the project while selling more offices than actually existed. Advocate Bergerson was appointed trustee for the company and its related companies and formulated a financial rehabilitation plan for the companies.

Ortam Sahar Engineering Group and Malibu Construction Ltd.
A group of construction and entrepreneurial companies with publicly traded securities that ran into difficulties because of debts of over NIS 1.5 Billion. Advocate Shaul Bergerson and CPA Izhar Kanne were appointed trustees of the group. Before their collapse, the companies were involved in the construction of some 5,000 housing units in various projects throughout the country. They ran the companies for several months, during which they were engaged in completing the construction of some 1,000 housing units in multiple projects. The trustees prepared a creditor arrangement for the companies in which they were sold to new buyers who continued the construction of some of the projects and also provided inspection services for completed projects.
The new buyers of the companies ran the group of companies for about three years, but the companies under their new ownership ran into difficulties. Advocate Bergerson and CPA Kanne were also appointed as trustees for the companies under their new ownership and worked to formulate a plan for economic rehabilitation which enabled the sale of the companies and the completion of the housing units by the purchasers as well as by the other parties in the projects that were not purchased, and also prevented the collapse of the creditor arrangement prepared for the companies prior to their sale to the purchasers.
