Afcon Holdings Ltd. operates in the multidisciplinary infrastructure projects segment, as well as in the control and automation technologies, communication and commerce sectors. Afcon executes construction and multi-systems technology projects, develops and sells communication, control and automation technologies, in Israel and abroad. Afcons'solutions in a given project integrate diverse capabilities from the variety of technologies, the performance and experience of Afcon in projects, and maintenance which Afcon offers to its customers. The combination of its capabilities, human capital, strength and financial stability enables Afcon to provide uncompromising quality, focus on safety and compliance with schedules.

Afcon works under a variety of business models including SPC, GC, EPC, Subcontracting, and maintenance. Afcon employs 1,500 employees and has four branches in Israel while several branches in Europe, in addition to activities and partnerships in the U.S., India, and China. Afcon annual revenues are NIS 1.5 billion. Afcon is part of the Shlomo Group – one of Israel’s largest business group – invest in various industries such as automobiles, shipyards, real-estate, insurance and more.

Areas of Expertise
Multi-System Infrastructure Projects – GC and construction for the public sector, turnkey projects, integrated civil engineering and construction projects, electrical works, sanitation, HVAC, gas engineering projects, industrial projects and services, firefighting works, and EPC projects of photovoltaic power plants and wind farms. Afcon has its own plant for “made-in-Israel” high and low-voltage electric switchgear and disconnect switches. In addition, Afcon operates in the natural gas industry and offers Pressure Reducing and Metering Stations (PRMS), natural gas compressors and decompressors, and in-factory NG retrofitting (CNG). Afcon has unlimited contractor classification and has a recognized contractor license for government works as well as ISO 9000, 14001 and 18001 certification. Afcon’s activity as GC includes design and engineering of malls, hotels, offices, logistics and IT centers; industrial electro-mechanic and construction, chemical, pharma and microelectronic industry and power plants.
Systems and Technologies, Control and Automation – low-voltage systems – industrial Control and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition software (SCADA) ; building control; meters and remote reading; security systems, fencing systems, motion and other sensors including unique solutions for border checkpoints and port gates; “Safe City” projects; parking control systems – hardware and software; fire detection and extinguishing; advanced radars for the protection of facilities, state-of-the-art technology facilities, digital signage projects and advanced multi-media displays. Afcon executes control, security, safety alarms and PA projects. For its parking systems, sensors and radars, Afcon produces both hardware and software and developed the control software for some of its products (PCM / PULSE). Its advanced technologies enable Afcon to participate in Israel’s leading projects. Afcon has a large service department deployed nationwide.
The Trade Division – Ateka – imports, markets and distributes electric, control, and electronics equipment in Israel. It represents about 40 leading manufacturers and brands from around the world, such as ABB, Omron, and General Cable. The company maintains significant inventories for immediate response to its customers needs. The company’s engineers and salesperson provide continuous service from pre-sale to post-sale service.
Communication and IT – Tadiran Telecom – development, manufacturing, distribution, implementation and maintenance of diverse IT, Computer systems and communication solutions. Tadiran has unique know-how and expertise in Unified Communication & Collaboration systems (UC&C); Contact Centers; cloud services and communication infrastructures. Tadiran is the manufacturer of the appreciated Coral product and developed the Aeonix system UC&C (pure IP) Contact Center and DISPATCH CONSOLE. Tadiran markets and sells in the U.S., China, Russia, and India.

Selected Infrastructure and Construction Projects
Wind Farms in Sirin and Gilboa – entrepreneurial (SPC), construction (EPC), operation and maintenance (O&M) of wind farms with 25 wind-turbines (44m height each) generating around 22MW. These are pioneering, innovative and first-of-their-kind projects in Israel.
PRMS – construction of Pressure Reducing and Metering Stations and their control systems for Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd., connecting the main gas transmission pipeline to its customers. The company executed more than 20 such projects for INGL and other customers.
Power stations and sub-stations – implementation and management of mega-projects, mainly the installation of electricity infrastructure and equipment at the power stations of Nesher Ramla, Sorek, Dalia Zafit, OPC Rotem and the Dead Sea plants, enabling optimal resources management in the project. Construction of a large number of substations such as the Dead Sea, Machteshim Ramat Hovav, Vishay Dimona, Ashkelon desalination.
Weizmann Institute, Biochemistry Building – constructing a green building of labs, offices and lecture rooms with an area of about 30,000 sq.m., LEED-certified, including construction, finishing, electrical, control, communication, sanitation, gas systems, HVAC and air purification systems.
Clalit Health Service Logistic Center – execution period of 24 months for civil engineering works, M&E, electrical, air conditioning, sanitary, refrigeration facilities, control, communications and fire detection, with strict compliance validations for medical equipment facilities storage.
An international Hi-Tech Company’s factory in Kiryat-Gat – erection, and installation of electrical infrastructures and instrumentation for the three generations of the factory as built over the years. Works are carrying out throughout the production areas of the factory in accordance with strict international procedures, of which Afcon had won excellence awards for safety and quality and was classified as a Tier-1 contractor.
Smart Campus for an international Hi-Tech Company – a complete turnkey project of the design-build method, most technologically advanced building in the world (smart building), including licensing, LEED Platinum Certified with a particularly challenging schedule, including offices, development labs, cafeteria and kitchens, and underground parking, on an overall area of more than 70,000 sq.m. with a scope of about NIS 500 million.
Global Tower project – the design-build project of a parking lot, commercial and offices in partnership with BSAT company, with an area of over 100,000 sq.m., including the execution of electromechanical systems in the project. Completion is dependent on financing by the entrepreneur.
Allied/Leumi Card Tower – 25 floors offices tower and 5 parking levels. Environmental friendly building on an area of 80,000 sq.m., including the execution of electromechanical systems in the project by Afcon.
