Furthermore, the Group promotes activities focused on selling products without profit together with charities such as "Larger than Life", "Make a Wish Foundation," but especially the Group has founded the "Lev Ohev" (Loving Heart) Foundation which operates from the Group's offices and each day helps thousands of underprivileged children and children with special needs.
Sakal Brothers Layam
Sakal Brothers, founded in 1979, serves as the Group's parent company, and sells a range of duty-free consumer products to the diplomatic community, embassies, multi-national forces stationed in Israel, and UN soldiers on Israel's borders. The company also sells duty-free products to passenger and cargo ships and Israeli airlines.
The company operates three duty-free stores – at the Ovda International Airport, and at the maritime ports of Haifa and Ashdod, where it sells to Israeli seaman off to sea.
Layam Ltd. was founded in 1938 and was acquired by the Sakal brothers from Zim in 2002. The company sells alcohol, cigarettes, food products, electrical and electronic goods, cosmetics and perfumes, toys, watches and sunglasses, as well as a range of technical products. The company equips passenger and cargo ships at Israel's ports as well as at other ports, sells to religious institutions and international aid organizations, and exports goods. The company's management offices and central warehouse are located at Haifa's Shemen Beach.
Sakal Sports
Sakal Sports began operating in 1990 as an official and exclusive Israeli importer of a variety of American and European sports clothing and footwear brands. Sakal Sports' marketing channels include 80 stores throughout Israel and 350 wholesale distribution points. Sakal Sport managed brands include Polo Ralph Lauren, DKNY, GUESS FOOTWEAR, Kenneth Cole, Timberland, bebe, as well as the Emporium chain.
Sakal Shoes
Payless Shoes – In 2011, the Group launched the first Payless Shoes stores in Israel, specializing in footwear for the whole family. The group plans to open 60 stores within the coming five years, with 11 stores already opened during 2011.
SBN
SBN is owned equally by Sakal (50%) and Brill (50%), and manages the Nautica brand, with 18 flagship stores and over 100 wholesale points of sale.
Sakal Duty-Free
Sakal Duty-Free was founded in 1997 to operate the duty-free shops at Ben Gurion Airport. Today the company is a wholesaler for Fisher, MATTEL, Hot Wheels, Barbie and Price toys, as well as many others.
The company is also an importer of Misaki (from Monte Carlo) jewelry which specializes in pearls, and Zeades (from Monaco) which specializes in jewelry, watches and leather and silver accessories.
The company also owns several duty-free stores at the Ben Gurion Airport for the sale of food and sweets.

Sea & Shells
Sea & Shells Company was established in 1997. The company has some 500 employees and is the official importer of the following brands - Miss Selfridge, Top Man, Top Shop, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger, O'Neill, Roxy, Quiksilver, and Dorothy Perkins.
