Labor Law & Labor Relations: Asher Heled & Co. has expertise in all aspects of labor law and labor relations including individual and collective law, handling and managing large collective work disputes, providing legal opinions on various subjects in labor law and offering ongoing daily counsel. In addition, the firm participates in labor negotiations of all types, including personal and collective bargaining and conducting negotiations with governmental authorities and public organizations. The firm also has vast experience in drafting labor agreements including collective/personal employment and termination-of-employment agreements, non-competition covenants, regulations, bylaws etc. The firm specializes in accompanying client businesses and organizations through major transactions and structural reorganizations, as well as due diligence related to employment arrangements following mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and receiverships, company restructuring, public offerings, outsourcing projects and more. The firm helps in planning and establishing human resources infrastructures for clients undergoing such reorganizations, and provides legal counsel regarding the labor law implications of matters including, but not limited to, hiring, firing, pension plans, and employee benefits. In addition, the firm has amassed much experience in handling crisis situations varying from intervening in collective disputes to providing legal support to clients in matters, events and proceedings related to sexual harassment complaints.
Pension Funds & Arrangements: The firm provides comprehensive services in matters related to pension funds, retirement funds and provident funds, and all retirement arrangements, including forming legal opinions, employees benefits, managers' and executives' plans, and providing ongoing prompt legal advice in real time.
Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR"): Asher Heled & Co. has extensive experience in litigation. The firm's staff includes seasoned attorneys who frequently appear before the Labor Courts, as well as before various tribunals and courts, including the Supreme Court. The firm litigates industrial disputes, individual employment disputes, and class actions involving labor law matters. The firm has won many precedent-setting cases in some of the most complex and important litigation involving labor law and pension disputes. The firm is also active in various arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Contribution to the Community

Contribution to the community is an integral part of the firm's culture, and it manifests itself with membership in public organizations, and pro bono representation of those aggrieved by labor law who cannot afford legal representation and for whom the public interest justifies such assistance in difficult times. As of 2010, Asher Heled & Co. has been providing free legal services to breast cancer patients referred to it by "One In Nine", a non for profit organization dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients.

Asher Heled, founder and managing partner, is a graduate of the law faculty of the Hebrew University in Jersualem. He is recognized as a leading expert in labor and pension laws, and is among the most prominent authorities in those areas in Israel. He possesses over 35 years of experience in the field. His experience includes handling a large number of legal proceedings, including several of the most important and fundamental cases in which the Supreme Court and the National Labor Court set new precedents. Mr. Heled is an experienced arbitrator and mediator and regularly presides over disputes in a multitude of alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He is a member of the board of directors and the treasurer of the Israeli Society for Labor Law and Social Security.
Elisha Shor, senior partner, is a graduate of the law faculty of Bar Ilan University. He has over 25 years experience and expertise in labor law, pensions, and provident funds, and is one of the leading experts in Israel in those areas. Mr. Shor has extensive experience in handling complex litigation matters. He specializes in drafting collective agreements as well as tailoring individual employment agreements and in providing ongoing counseling to large companies.
Elinor Aharonson, partner, is a graduate of the law faculty of Tel Aviv University, specializing in labor law, and experienced in handling complex litigation cases, management of legal teams, and coordinating ongoing legal advice to large organizations.
Michal Levanon Porat, partner, is a graduate of the law faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and has an LL.M. from the law faculty of Tel Aviv University. She has extensive experience in handling complex litigation matters, counseling and representation of large companies and senior corporate executives as well as in collective labor disputes and collective negotiations.
Tal Mayerson, partner, is a graduate of the School of Law of the College of Management and has an LL.M. from Bar Ilan University and she is a certified mediator. She possesses broad experience in managing complex litigation cases, collective labor disputes and collective bargaining.
Yaron Lestrel, partner, is a graduate of the law faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has extensive experience in handling complex litigation matters. He consults and represents pension funds, large companies and senior corporate executives, workers and worker's organizations.
